Director, Writer, Cinematographer, Cartoonist
Jordan Rae Herron is a Hispanic and Native American multimedia artist. A graduate from the University of New Mexico ’19, she has a BFA in Interdisciplinary Film and Digital Media and a BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She also studied abroad at King’s College in London for Children’s Literature as well as studying in Ireland for Irish History and Literature.
She interned with the New Mexico Film Office in Santa Fe throughout college. This gave her opportunities to work on many film sets around the state such as Disney’s Star Girl (Camera PA, Art Department PA, Props PA, Office PA) and Sylvan Esso’s PARAD(w/m)E music through Meow Wolf (Set PA). She has gone on to work with Universal Studios (BIOS – Set Dec PA, News Around the World – Office PA), Netflix (Army of the Dead – Office PA), and HBO (Unpregnant – Office PA, Art PA).
Jordan’s most recent work, Part of a Balanced Breakfast, is her directorial debut in a short narrative film.
